Birth & Postpartum Doula, Bereavement Support, Lactation, and Birth Photography

For the past six years, I have had the honor of walking beside families during one of life’s most sacred passages—birth. Much of my work has been with military families, whose unique journeys are marked by resilience, sacrifice, and an ever-changing sense of home. Bearing witness to their stories, I have seen how the strength of love and partnership can transcend distance, uncertainty, and the weight of service. My role has been not only to nurture and guide, but to hold space for fears and triumphs, offering a steady presence when so much around them feels in flux. Each family has taught me that birth is more than a physical process—it is a deep unfolding of spirit, strength, and connection. In my practice, I have supported mothers/birthing persons through both cesarean births and VBACs, honoring the courage it takes to surrender to the unknown while holding faith in their bodies. Whether easing a mother’s/birthing person's breath through the rise of a contraction, or gently reassuring her/them as she/they enter the operating room, I have learned that every birth carries its own quiet magic. My work has been less about directing and more about attuning—listening to what each family needs in the moment, and weaving a sense of calm, trust, and reverence into their experience. It has been a calling rooted in heart, spirit, and the belief that every birth story deserves to be cherished.
